My daughter is fifteen and as she got older her bunins got worse. She also has flat feet and her Achilles’ tendons were very tight which we found out could lead to back problems in the future. Dr. Graff said the best thing for her was to remove her bunions and lengthen her Achilles’ tendons. We heard all the horror stories about bunion surgery being worse than having a baby and also heard if it is done right she should not have that kind of pain. She had two seperate surgeries two months apart. She was very glad that she did not have that much pain so she didn’t even have to take any prescription pain medication, just Ibuprofen. I guess Dr. Graff “does it right”. It has been two months now since the last surgery and she is doing very well. Her feet feel better than they ever had. She didn’t realize they bothered her before and just adapted to it, but now says they feel so much better. She was scared at first, but now is so glad she had these surgeries.
